On October 2025 there was the conclusion of the ‘From AI to Handcrafted’ project, born from the collaboration between Istituto Marangoni, Spazio Lenovo and Rivatelier. The finalist projects INCLINA, OTTO and PEBBLE represent a harmonious synthesis between technology and craftsmanship, emphasizing three fundamental principles that give identity to the creative process: beauty, functionality and innovation.
Beauty as a value that generates emotion.
Functionality as an element that accompanies us every day. It is not a question of practicality, but of different ideas that come together, simplifying everyday life and enriching it at the same time.
Innovation as the drive to imagine new possibilities for contemporary living, breaking the mould.
INCLINA by Aigin Juhls, the winning project stood out because it was not limited to being just a complement, but transformed the relationship between object and technology.
In it, the computer is never hidden or sacrificed: on the contrary, it is enhanced, valued as an integral part of a whole that finds a balance between aesthetics and function.
Its strength lies in innovation that does not compromise on elegance, and in having demonstrated that design can truly enrich contemporary life by making technology not only useful but also fascinating.
This is why it won: because it succeeded in showing how the combination of creativity, research and vision can give rise to an object that not only accompanies technology but celebrates it.
